Top 10 drool-worthy LEGO creations by masterbuilders you need to try at home ASAP

As a child, I loved sitting and spending hours excruciatingly and lovingly building little LEGO block structures. But, watching my sister bump into them, causing them to fall apart completely was truly heartbreaking. We all have heartwarming memories associated with LEGO blocks from our childhood, as well as the not-so-heartwarming ones of stepping on them with our feet and feeling an insane amount of pain shoot up our legs. Despite these wonderful childhood memories, LEGO is no more considered child’s play! Master builders, artists, and LEGO enthusiasts all over the world are creating impressive LEGO builds that’ll blow your minds away. They are a result of their hours of dedication, attention to detail, hard work, and creativity. And we’ve put together some mindblowing LEGO builds that recently took our breath away! From a detailed LEGO Peugeot 9X8 supercar to a LEGO version of ‘The Scream’ – these LEGO builds are gonna get LEGO lovers drooling over them.

1. LEGO “The Moon: Earth’s Companion”

Built using 2360 LEGO bricks, the LEGO Art space poster “The Moon: Earth’s Companion”, is a fan-made creation that is a tribute to the beauty and majesty of the moon. The build features a brick-built Moon that was created with immense attention to detail and features craters and terrains. The Moon is built entirely from LEGO ART bricks, and it celebrates the moon’s mystery and tranquility. The detailing of the piece is extremely impressive, with carefully built mountains and craters.

2. The LEGO X-wing Starfighter

The LEGO X-Wing Starfighter kit includes 1949 pieces and measures up to 10.5 inches in height, and 21.5 inches in length once assembled. The Starfighter includes an R2-D2 minifig inside, as well as a spot to place the Luke Skywalker minifig dressed up in a Rebel flight suit, ready to fight off the galactic warriors with his majestic lightsaber. You can display the build on an old-school stand, with the option of having the wings retracted or fully opened in the X configuration.

3. LEGO Peugeot 9X8 Supercar

LEGO master builder Brick-A-Brac paid tribute to Peugeot’s return to the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2022 with an impressive build of the 9X8 supercar. Built using 1320 parts, the car is 51 centimeters long and has a detailed and drool-worthy graphic on the body. The build features a sleek and menacing design, supported by a generous size and precise attention to detail. This Peugeot 9X8 model is a rare gem that will have LEGO enthusiasts and car aficionados buzzing with excitement.

4. LEGO The Scream MOC

This LEGO Ideas MOC of Edvard Munch’s The Scream truly captures the anxiety Munch wanted to encapsulate in his painting 130 years ago. LEGO builder Spacemanship recreated the painting using 2999 bricks. His purpose was to give people with anxiety something to channel their feelings into – and he was quite successful in doing that, given that the LEGO Ideas submission hit the coveted 10,000 votes milestone and will soon be translated into a buyable LEGO kit.

5. Pale4’s LEGO Custom Motorcycle

LEGO master builder Pale4 built this custom skeletal hot rod as a part of the LEGO Ideas forum. The build is pretty majestic and eye-catching, and customizations such as shortening the front fork, and making the bike bulkier and embellished are features that have elevated the bike even further. “I’ve always been a fan of custom motorcycles. Since customizing motorcycles is hugely popular I thought designing one which could be customized by builder after building would be a great set for fans of Lego and Lego Technic”, Pale4 said.

6. Sariel Bricks and Pets’ LEGO Flip Clock

Meet Sariel Bricks and Pet’ LEGO Flip Clock! The LEGO creation looks and functions much like an old mechanical flip clock, and makes use of the same gear and mechanism to do its time-telling. It has been built completely from LEGO bricks, not including the number stickers on the flip panels. It stands 44 cm wide and 15 cm tall (17.4″ by 5.9″) and features a 10:1 gear ratio for counting down the minutes, and a 12:1 gear ratio for the hours (allowing it to reset every 12 hours).

7. LEGO Multi-Tool

This fan-made LEGO MOC is called the LEGO Multi-Tool, and it’s designed after the popular Victorinox Swiss Army Knife. The build has been equipped with both practical and useless tools such as a brick separator, screwdriver, magnifying glass, and Technic axle, as well as a belt-punch and a corkscrew. It’s also called the Brick Army Knife and can be found on the LEGO’s Idea Forun currently.

8. LEGO The Great Wave

The Great Wave of Kanagawa is one of the most iconic and popular paintings of the art world. The awe-inspiring and majestic wave is something that everyone, art lovers and normies, alike can recognize. And LEGO Art has interpreted this great artwork using plastic clocks! The set comes with 1810 pieces, that can be used, to create this famous eastern artwork right from scratch! There’s also a special brick that holds artist Hokusai’s signature. How cool is that?

9. LEGO Hourglass

This beautifully built hourglass by Brick Dangerous is a LEGO version of an hourglass that actually works! You can find it on the LEGO ideas forum and it features a LEGO transparent chamber consisting of LEGO brick granules, which move down from the upper vial to the lower vial, counting down time as they slowly succumb to gravity. LEGO Master Builder ‘Brick Dangerous’ built this creation in three color variants, but you can create your own color scheme too!

10. LEGO LED Lamp

Meet the LEGO LED Lamp! This detailed and intricate, yet simple build by LEGO builders Castor-Troy and Max Brich is modeled after the Tiffany-style stained-glass lamps that were quite popular in the older days.  Originally popularized by Louis Comfort Tiffany (a stained-glass artist from the late 19th century), the lamps feature an Art Nouveau-inspired form and a tinted glass shade that would often fill a room with fragments of colored light. The LEGO builders put together this beautiful creation in under 800 bricks!
